Finally the concept of combined entrance test for MCA worked out on 6th June 2004. The first test for the AIMCET was conducted and the exact pattern was disclosed to the students.
We are pleased to present a detailed analysis of the AIMCET entrance test that was held on June 6, 2004. The questions have been recalled with the help of PT faculty and PT students from across the nation.

The questions on Logical Reasoning were simple whereas questions on Computer required depth of knowledge. Those from non-computer background must have found it very difficult. Mathematics portion was also of moderate difficult level and a sincere student must have been able to handle most of it.
 
Answers were to be marked with pen (answers once marked could not be changed). Students faced difficulty with this marking style.
